ConvertCove

Privacy policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

The short version

Files you convert with ConvertCove are processed entirely in your web browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them. We do not use cookies, advertising or third-party analytics.

Your files

When you select or drop a file, your browser reads it into memory on your device and the conversion code runs locally. The converted output exists only in your browser until you download it or close the tab. We never receive file contents, file names or conversion settings.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server records basic access logs when pages and scripts are requested: IP address, date and time, requested URL, HTTP status, referring page and browser user-agent. We use these logs to keep the site secure, diagnose errors and count visits in aggregate. Logs are kept for up to 90 days and are not sold or shared, except where required by law.

Cookies and local storage

ConvertCove does not set cookies. Your browser may cache our scripts and codecs so the site loads faster next time; you can clear this cache in your browser settings at any time.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to keep a record of the conversation. We delete support emails after two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Children

ConvertCove is a general-audience tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you. In practice that is limited to server logs and emails. Write to hello@cloudconverttool.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Significant changes, such as any change to the no-upload design, will be announced on the home page.
