    Create a ZIP

Add any files and set their target to ZIP. All files marked ZIP in the same batch are packed into one archive. Images, videos and other files that are already compressed are stored as-is to save time; text and data files are compressed with DEFLATE at the level you choose.

    Extract archives

Choose “Extract files” for a ZIP, RAR, 7Z, TAR, TAR.GZ/TGZ or GZ file and every file inside appears with its own download button, plus a “Download all” button. Folder paths inside the archive are kept in the file names. macOS metadata such as __MACOSX folders and .DS_Store files is skipped.

RAR (versions 4 and 5) and 7z archives are read with libarchive compiled to WebAssembly; that 1 MB engine is only downloaded when you add one of those files.

RAR, 7z and tarballs can also be converted straight to ZIP, which is handy when a colleague without WinRAR or 7-Zip receives one.
